Since 14 years he is working in the IT and Telecommunication field. Before joining Samsung he raised venture capital to found and manage a company in location based services and researched at Aachen University in international projects with more than 30 publications.
Bernhard von Canstein, Vodafone Bernhard von Canstein is Senior Manager at Vodafone Germany, responsible for Business Development activities. Before that, he worked at Vodafone Group Marketing, heading strategic new business activities. Bernhard was a co-founder of the German content management software developer Tomorrow Technologies and also worked in corporate development for the publisher Gruner & Jahr (Bertelsmann). He started his career in corporate finance, working in M&A e.g. for UBS. Bernhard holds an MBA from IESE Business School.

He holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management as well as a graduate degree in Business and Economics. Before joining T-Systems, he was with Detecon International, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Dialog Consult. Christoph Urban, MTV Christoph Urban is Head of Mobile/Business Development of MTV Networks in Germany. He is responsible for all mobile and IVR services including the growing diversification business of the whole tv-network (MTV, VIVA, NICK, VIVA Plus). Before he worked in several marketing and online positions for MTV and also as a assistant to the marketing vp for the Nestle Deutschland AG. Christoph holds a degree in business and advertising and studied at the media university in Stuttgart.
Prof. Dr. Claus Sattler, BMCO Claus Sattler studied Computer Sciences. He worked 17 years in a scientific institute developing OSI network software. From 1991 - 2003 he was with Eutelis Consult GmbH in Ratingen, a consultancy for telecommunications and value-added services, during the last years as a managing director. From May 2003 until September 2004 he worked as the ?bmco - Broadcast Mobile Convergence" project manager in Berlin. Now he is working as the Executive Director of the bmco forum", an international industrial relations activity to accompany and support the development of an open market environment for mobile broadcast services.
Detlef Wiese, MayahDetlef Wiese, General Manager of MAYAH Communications, finished university as sound and video engineer in Düsseldorf, 1988 to 1993 as scientist at Institut für Rundfunktechnik, IRT, research work in psychoacoustics, error concealment and channel coding, Project Manager Digital Audio Broadcasting DAB/MUSICAM which became MPEG standard in 1992. Many publications in VDT, IEEE, AES, ITG, NANBA/EBU and others. Founder and General Manager of MAYAH Communications GmbH with focus on innovative audio/video broadcast transmission equipment for reporting, distribution, contribution and emmission encoding systems such as DVB-H, DMB, UMTS/3G and ipTV.
Doug Lowther, IrdetoDoug Lowther joined Irdeto in 2004. Most recently, Doug was an independent consultant and strategy advisor. Doug's previous roles include several executive positions with Nortel Networks, where he held roles such as VP and GM, Wireless Applications, and VP Strategic Marketing. He has also led product development teams in Wireless Data, GSM access, Switching, and Intelligent Networks. Doug started his career building network planning and operations systems for telecom operators.
Doug has a global perspective, having lived and worked in Canada, France, Singapore, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. He holds an executive MBA from IMD International in Lausanne, Switzerland and a Computer Science degree from the University of Manitoba.
Frank Strässle-Wendelstein, Bayerische Medien TechnikFrank Strässle-Wendelstein is Managing Director of Bayerische Medien Technik GmbH (BMT) in Munich. BMT was founded in 1994 as a subsidiary of Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) and Bayerischer Landeszentrale für neue Medien (BLM). As coordinator of the DAB pilot project and DVB-T Trials in Bavaria, BMT has implemented a number of technical and market-oriented projects within the digital broadcasting business in recent years.
He is responsible for several digital broadcasting trials and regular implementations as the planned DMB trials in Bavaria or the development of several mhp applications for public and private broadcasters. From 1999 -2002 he was Manager TV Solutions for a Full Service Advertising Agency in Stuttgart, responsible for the development of new kinds of tv contents at the b2c market.
Dr. Pietro Fringuelli, CMS Hasche Sigle Pietro is leading the media team of CMS Hasche Sigle in Cologne which has been appointed as "Law firm of the Year" in the field of "film & entertainment" by JUVE. He is associate professor for media law at the International Film School in Cologne and member of the advisory board of the German Association of TV, Film and Video Industry.

Before joining Irdeto in 1999, JanWillem van Hardeveld held several positions at KPN Telecom The Netherlands, ranging from R&D and Product Management to Business Development and Strategy. Guy Morag, Bamboo Media CastingMr. Morag has spent more than 15 years at the forefront of the digital imaging industry. In 1994, he drew on his experience in marketing and business development to found Pix.com, Ltd., serving as President and CEO. Mr. Morag brought Pix.com to a successful merger with Zing Network, Inc., a California-based company, at the end of 1999, and served as Zing's VP of International Business Development.

Jan Geissler, Vodafone After his studies of business administration in Regensburg (Germany), and Birmingham (UK), Jan Geißler worked for more than 4 years in various positions for the media company Bertelsmann: He joined Bertelsmann's "media Technologies" Think Tank and was responsible for scouting and evaluating the technological and strategic impact of new technologies on the media industry. He consulted the board of Bertelsmann AG as well as Bertelsmann companies, specializing on peer-to-peer and mobile technology. In 2000, he co-founded the wireless application service provider BeMobile as an in-house venture of Bertelsmann, being responsible for product management, business development and marketing.
In 2003, Jan Geißler joined Vodafone Group R&D located in Munich. In his position as Senior Technology Manager Business Modelling & Market Intelligence, he is now responsible for business modelling in projects evaluating the convergence of mobile and broadcast networks. He was involved in one of the world's first public DVB-H trials, the "bmco" project conducted 2003-2004 in Berlin.

Marcus Hochhaus, PLAZAMEDIA Marcus started his professional career at the German Kirch Group in 1998. He was focused on the area of investment management. In 2001 Marcus was responsible for a complex corporate analysis of broad- casting and IT. Martin Bögelsack , T-Mobile Martin Bögelsack is member of the strategy team of T-Mobile CZ. Since two years he is in charge for the harmonisation of unicast and multicast services. In autumn 2005 T-Mobile CZ started with the operation of a trial system with several European partners. Martin is working in the mobile communication business since 16 years. Before joining T-Mobile he worked for 15 years in a R&D-Laboratory for TV technology in Berlin.
Pascal Tilly, independent consultantPascal Tilly is a freelance consultant in telecommunication, media, content and mobile business in Duesseldorf. He studied Economics in Muenster and Wuppertal. With the liberalisation of the German telecommunication market in 1998 he worked with the first German City Carrier ISIS Multimedia Net in Duesseldorf. He was responsible for the development and implementation of TV signal supply as Product Manager CATV, Broadband Cable and e-Government.
